We’re Hamza & Karolina — a Jordan–Poland couple living in Amman.

Everything we share is based on our personal trips: what was worth it, what was overpriced, and what we’d do differently next time.
Flights to Jordan (Airports & Best Booking Tips):
Jordan has three international airports, but most travelers arrive through Queen Alia International Airport (AMM) in Amman.
Main airports in Jordan:
AMM (Amman – Queen Alia International Airport): best option for most travelers
AQJ (Aqaba – King Hussein International Airport): useful if you want to start your trip in the south (Petra / Wadi Rum / Aqaba)
OJAI (Amman Civil Airport / Marka): mostly domestic and limited flights
Best tip:
If you’re planning to visit Petra and Wadi Rum early in your trip, sometimes flying directly to Aqaba (AQJ) can save time.
How to find cheap flights:
We usually check prices using Skyscanner, WizzAir, and Ryanair, especially for budget flights from Europe.
Best Time to Visit Jordan (Weather & Seasons):
Jordan has hot summers and cool winters, and the weather can change depending on the region.
Best months to visit Jordan:
✅ March to May (Spring) – perfect temperatures, green landscapes, best hiking season
✅ September to November (Autumn) – warm days, cool nights, fewer crowds
Summer (June to August):
Jordan becomes very hot, especially in Wadi Rum, Petra, and the Dead Sea. However, it’s still possible to travel if you start activities early in the morning.
Winter (December to February):
Amman and northern areas can get cold and rainy, and snow is possible in the mountains. Petra and Wadi Rum can be chilly at night, so warm clothes are needed.
Local tip:
The Dead Sea and Aqaba stay warmer in winter, so they’re great destinations during the colder months.
Best season for Petra: Spring + Autumn
Best season for Wadi Rum camping: Autumn + Winter
Best season for hiking canyons: Spring
