Turkiye is really big country, which means a lot to discover!

We visited a small part of the south for two weeks of this very beautiful country and we completely loved it.

Antalya and Alanya are very famous destination for many tourists and as all inclusive holidays. beach front cities, with a huge mountains in the background and perfect weather.

But as you know, our holiday style is totally different, so this meant that it was all about exploring the nature either by the beach cliffs or deep in the mountains and hidden canyons.

We will share with you all the experience and fun we had there, accommodations, car rental, food and amazing places to see.

Activities

The Taurus Mountains are perfect for hiking, trekking, and rock climbing, with scenic trails overlooking the coast.

Rivers are popular for rafting, kayaking, and canyoning, while the Mediterranean shores invite diving, sailing, and paragliding.

Climate

Southern Turkey has a classic Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters.

Temperatures in summer range between 30°C and 40°C, while winters stay around 10–15°C, with most rain falling from November to March.

Budget

In recent years, Türkiye has experienced a significant rise in inflation, leading to higher prices for food, accommodation, and other essentials.

However, compared to most European destinations, it remains relatively affordable with fair price ranges for travelers.

When it comes to accommodation, expect to pay slightly above the average to find a decent place, while for food, its often found in local eateries away from tourist areas, where you can still enjoy authentic meals at reasonable prices.
