Canyons are a big part of Jordanians weekends activities, and for the last ten years it became an important attraction for a lot of tourists.
Water canyons are a seasonal attraction and are open during spring, summer and early autumn only. This is due to fluids hazards during winter and rain.
There are more than 20 water canyons in Jordan but few are very popular because of easy access and safety.
Many are remote and needs a 4x4 car to reach them and it requires experience with ropes and canyoneering skills.
But for example, Wadi Numeira, just after the dead sea is very family friendly, free, and fun to walk and explore.
Some of the canyons are supervised by authorities like Wadi Mujeb, while other canyons are accessible for free or with small entry fee like Wadi ibn Hammad.
DEAD SEA:
The Dead Sea is famous for its high salt content, allowing you to effortlessly float on its surface.
Take a dip in its mineral-rich waters and indulge in a rejuvenating mud bath, known for its therapeutic properties.
For adventure seekers, a visit to Wadi Mujib is a must.

JARASH:
